We are back home and I would like to send you some feedback of our holiday in South Africa. Everything worked fine and we took a lot of impressions back to Austria. We were a group of 12 guys travelling from Norway to come to Cape Town and have a good time. The occasion was that quite a few of us turn 50 this year. We are all keen golfers so the criteria for the trip was that golfing conditions had to be good and we wanted to go out of Europe. We highly recommend South Africa as a destination and Golf 2 Africa as your travel planning partner.

The communication up front was timely and specific, all times and places were specified in good times and we got great advices and recommendations on areas, golf courses, restaurants, do’s and dont’s etc. And Peter was much more than our driver – he was a great tour guide and travel companion as well, with a lot of information and history knowledge, making our trip unforgettable in the most positive of ways.

We just returned from our wonderful 5 weeks in South Africa. Everything was perfect organized (as usual!!) and the 5 star guest houses were superb. Cinnamon is a gem, Head over Hills impressed with its unbelievable views and the friendliness of the staff (rooms on the smallish side). But altogether a very well arranged golf trip.

Thanks again for the arrangements. We hope this was not the last trip to your wonderful country.

We are now back on the Queen Elizabeth sailing towards Reunion, Mauritius and Perth. We had a wonderful time in Peter’s capable hands. He was very professional, experienced and always on time (or early).

We loved the Fancourt Resort. The hotel was really first class and the Montagu golf course was in very good condition and quite a challenge in places. The hotel’s restaurants were excellent, especially the fine dining experience at Henry White’s. Thank you so much for arranging everything so expertly at such short notice. If we return to South Africa as a golfing destination we will certainly be in touch.

It was a rewarding experience for all of us – specially for the newcomers to SA who were very impressed by a lot of things: roads, people, atmosphere, friendliness and a very good cost benefit relationship of the vacation.

Fancourt is very good and we could have stayed another day and even would have liked to play the links. Knysna of course offers a lot and we liked the Pezula course which we played twice. Stellenbosch and the Oude Werf Hotel we enjoyed very much – we definitively want to revisit. Thank you very much once more for the program.

Our trip exceeded our expectations in lodging, meals, safari and golf. Truly a Class A experience, Irene Country Lodge was perfect after the long flight, Laurence was the best. Place on the Bay and Harley were fabulous! Fancourt and Knysna were great locations and the boys and my wife jumped from the bridge!

Wildside was so much fun, our guide Albert was a special young man. The entire staff there was so friendly. The 19th hole Extreme is an experience any golfer would enjoy! Buhula Lodge was a great place to end our trip, sitting on the deck with Sugar Rhodes and seeing Rhino, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocs and Elephant across the river just awesome; and the golf was something else at Leopard Creek! Thank you so much for making our vacation one of the best ever!

My wife and I recently used Golf 2 Africa for a wonderful holiday in South Africa,they did an excellent job, sorting out pick ups at the airport, transfers to a first class guest house in Pretoria, then as a result of their recommendation we stayed at Wildside Camp, Entebeni for 4 days, the guide was excellent, we saw lots of the animals, including lions, cheetah, rhino, elephants and lots of antelope. We were then transferred to Rovos Rail for 9 wonderful days of golf. Every part of the holiday arranged by Golf 2 Africa was first class.

The trip was amazing! Everyone had a truly great time. We made new friends in South Africa, and have memories of shared experiences which will never be duplicated. From Kruger to Cape Town, Zambia and Botswana, every day was different and every day was better than the last, which we never thought would have been possible.

The golfers all enjoyed their round at Leopard Creek. They said the experience was first class all the way. The guides were fantastic and the lodges and hotels very comfortable and pleasing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on our first trip to Africa. We will definitely be back with more groups in the future. Thank you for all your efforts in creating a great custom itinerary!

We had a really nice time. The courses were great. I actually enjoyed the Gary Player more, even though I don’t belong on a course that nice! The service was good and the people were friendly. Driving up to Sun City from Joburg, is easy and makes for a welcome break from the routine. We enjoyed a safari in the Pilanesberg while we were there and had some interesting sightings. Thanks for arranging the trip for us.

We have all returned home safely and enjoyed the trip you arranged for us. Thanks for your help. The golf courses we played were superb and accommodations you recommended were great… Our group fell in love with the wildlife and scenery of your country. The Lost City Palace was the perfect location for our tour to end. Thanks again.

We all had a great time, the golf courses were superb and so picturesque. The accommodation at all locations was excellent too and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

As well as that, the staff at all locations were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful – nothing was too much trouble. The trip was great and I will definitely be in touch for next year’s trip

At last a moment to send you a comment or two on our fabulous trip to South Africa. First and foremost it must be said that the mere mention of your company was sufficient to guarantee a warm welcome wherever we were. The Vineyard was ideally situated for our needs in Cape Town, extremely comfortable with friendly staff and the food and wine were so good we actually dined in the hotel all three evenings and had lunch there twice.

Moving on to Fancourt – no praise is too high for the standard of accommodation and the efficiency of the staff throughout the establishment from golf caddie to Manager. Franschhoek and the winelands – there are no words. Despite the increased development since we were there a few years ago it remains breathtakingly beautiful with a serenity that few places we have visited can equal. It remains to say thank you Quintin, Peter and all your colleagues at Drommedaris Golf. Without your organisation this excellent tour could not have run so smoothly.

Alan and I would like to say a massive thank you to you and your colleagues at Golf 2 Africa. Our holiday surpassed all our wildest dreams. The golf courses were amazing, the scenery spectacular, the food – too good!! And the people we met in the various hotels and guest houses were fantastic.

We got engaged in Stellenbosch, which made the trip even more special. I’m hoping we can save enough money to come back again shortly. Big thanks!

We would like to thank you for your excellent organisation, the gifts and of course the wine. We enjoyed our stay and all the experiences we were able to make. All our drivers/guides were extremely friendly, and always on time.

The tee times were perfectly arranged and so we had no excuses for our bad golf 😉 We fell in love with South Africa – again – and we will certainly come back, maybe in 2010. We really enjoyed our golf holiday. The Fancourt resort was, by far, our favorite. The tour of the wine route was excellent, as was the hospitality of our guide, Peter. We enjoyed that thoroughly.

The golf courses were excellent and gave us all a chance to play some of the best courses available, even if our play wasn’t up to scratch. Your guides were very good and gave us plenty of information where ever we were.

We will certainly return to your lovely country. The highlight of our trip golfing wise was certainly Fancourt – and my favourite course was the Montagu, however we would not have missed the Links for anything although it is one tough course!

Our holiday to South Africa and Zambia was perfectly planned and we really appreciated the personal touch and attention to detail from Quintin and his team.

This was an amazing tour. We were looked after very well and we always had the feeling things were under control. South Africa is a very beautiful country and the golf courses are some of the best in the world.

We loved Cape Town and the Garden Route. Peter and Quintin sorted out a few unforeseen problems and we were impressed with the way they dealt with everything.

Thank you for your great service and putting together this holiday for us. We enjoyed everything, especially the wine tasting in Stellenbosch. The Garden Route is so beautiful. Also thank you for Quintin helping with our mobile phone and sending our simcard. Excellent service!

Let me first of all say that we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We fell in love with Cape Town and the fantastic weather, great food, beaches, scenery in general. The choice of golf courses was excellent. Will want to go back when we can afford it!
