Scottsdale's popularity is well deserved.
The beautiful desert landscapes have inspired such people as architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who built
an internationally admired winter retreat.
Outdoor lovers will find hundreds of things to do along the Salt River, in the rocky city
parks and neighbouring mountains, or on ranches in and around the city. Hot air balloon rides,
horseback tours, kayaking, and mountain climbing are all just minutes from Scottsdale.
Experience Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Golf Resort, which has come to reflect the
dynamic environment that surrounds it, where sun-washed stone and bright green
cottonwoods rise up to meet the pale-blue sky and majestic Purple Mountains.
Your second stop, The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa is located in the master-planned,
730-acre Kierland community, which is tucked amid the McDowell Mountains and Sonoran Desert
