We're a proud member of SATSA
Our clients have the peace of mind knowing that they are dealing with a professional golf travel company that conforms to all the legal, financial and insurance regulations set by the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA).
Not only is SATSA of benefit to businesses within the industry, in successfully aligning with an association of such a high caliber, it is also extremely useful to tourists wishing to experience tourism at its best.
By doing business with a SATSA accredited member, people are able to achieve piece of mind and a guarantee that they are receiving the best possible services within the tourism industry.
The SATSA Bonded logo serves to testify to the fact that Drommedaris Golf CC, being a SATSA member in good standing, has a financial guarantee in place to cover monetary deposits lodged with the member in advance of services to be rendered.
Should a SATSA member become financially insolvent prior to rendering the contracted service, the bond guarantees that deposits will be refunded, or the service replaced.
This is an insurance bond underwritten by Lombard Insurance and certain underwriting syndicates at Lloyd's of London and is administered by SATSA, a section 21 company incorporated not for gain.

SATSA Executive Summary
SATSA has been the Mark of Quality Tourism in Southern Africa for 40 years. Our vision is to be the most recognised and sought after endorsement of good business practice in the Southern Africa Tourism Industry.
Our Purpose is to provide domestic and international tourism buyers with quality advice and reliable information on credible tourism partners in Southern Africa.
Our Aim is to help our members manage successful, profitable businesses that are part of a vibrant and sustainable inbound tourism industry.
We achieve this by focusing on:
LOBBYING – We champion the interests of our members with Government to ensure South Africa has a legislative and fiscal framework that allows their businesses to grow and prosper.
PROFESSIONALISM – We promote best practice and encourage life long learning. We facilitate through mentoring and other means, the provision of vocational and management training that will improve quality, encourage staff development and provide the prospect of a fulfilling and rewarding career path in inbound tourism.
NETWORKING – Through our Chapter meetings and annual conference we provide opportunities for our members to develop relationships with tourism suppliers, buyers and partners both abroad and in the Southern Africa through a programme of business and social events.
SATSA has an Executive Committee, elected by members, that is charged with making policy decisions concerning the running of the organisation.
SATSA National Office is managed on a day-to-day basis by an appointed CEO, COO and staff.
SATSA is a national organisation, but provinces in South Africa have their own Chapters, with a Chair and Committee. This allows members to be more involved in provincial matters at a local level. The chapter structure also enables SATSA to obtain detailed feedback from its members on issues affecting the tourism industry.
The interim results of an Economic Impact Survey of our members shows that:
Just 56% of members contribute almost R6 billion to tourism revenue
Provide 25 500 permanent jobs
Have almost 35 000 beds and 18 000 seats
SATSA promotes Responsible Tourism and mentors newcomers to the tourism industry. SATSA is the only inbound non-government organisation whose members are bonded against involuntary liquidation of other members.
