This package is mostly concentrated in
the Shannon and Kerry regions of Ireland.
County Limerick, contrasting with the city, is a place of quiet beauty and rural charm. Its gentle
undulating landscape is pleasing to the eye from rural mountains of Ballyhoura, the beautiful Golden Vale in the east of the county through to the tidal estuary of the River Shannon.
A particular feature of the county is its range of attractive towns like beautiful
Castleconnell by the River Shannon, Killmallock and its rich history or Adare, which is possibly
Ireland's prettiest village, and its old world thatched cottages and mediaeval churches.
County Kerry is a striking panorama of deep blue lakes, wild mountainous landscapes,
rugged coastline and sub-tropical flora.
It is often referred to as the Kingdom, as it is believed to be the closest thing to heaven
on earth. It will be an endless source of pleasant surprises and entertainment for you and your
family, surely providing glimpses of paradise.
Thanks to nature, the finest blend of links and parkland courses in Ireland are
probably in the Shannon Region. The region covers Counties Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary and

design has already assured Adare Golf Club's position as one of the finest Irish inland courses.
We recommend a visit to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park after golf.
It is the most complete, authentically restored and furnished castle in Ireland. Bunratty
Folk Park, recreates rural and urban life in 19th century Victorian Ireland.
There is an extensive array of vernacular buildings; indicative of all of the social strata
from the poorest one roomed dwelling to Bunratty House, a fine example of a Georgian residence
for the gentry. Traditional jobs and crafts are also represented, milling, the forge, pottery, printing,
baking, farming etc
Day 3
Head for the fairways at Lahinch Old Course Golf Club.
Lahinch golf links, expertly designed by Alister MacKenzie, has the distinction of being a
mecca for keen golfers.
Featuring a strong opening hole, setting off up hill and battling against contour and wind,
sets the heroic frame for the whole golf course.
Visit the Cliffs of Moher after golf. The spectacular Cliffs of Moher are located in County
Clare, near the Burren Area. The highest point of the cliffs stands 710 feet high, and the cliffs
themselves stretch five miles down the coast.
From atop the Cliffs of Moher, visitors can see one of the most amazing views in
Ireland. Weather permitting; you can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay and the valleys and hills
of Connemara, as well as the lighthouse on Loop Head and the mountains of Kerry to the south.
Day 4
Visit Adare Village after breakfast.
With its woodland setting, beautiful stonework, picturesque thatched cottages and fine
broad Main Street, Adare is a very special place.
Historically, Adare belonged to the Kildare branch of the Fitzgerald's or Geraldine's and
was later maintained and restored by the Dunraven family over the last two centuries.
Spend time browsing through the antique and clothing boutiques and getting acquainted
with the local people in one of the many restaurants and pubs. One should truly experience the

Cottage, a 150 year old family-run establishment.
At "Kate's" you will enjoy the tradition of hospitality made
famous by the legendary Kate herself.
Day 6

Ballybunion is a true seaside links course, virtually treeless and a course of sharp contours
throughout the 18 holes. There are uphill, downhill and side hill shots as well as uphill and downhill
par 3's.
It has been said that playing Ballybunion is similar in many respects, to playing Cypress
Point in America, and along with the wind on the course, it makes for an interesting challenge and
rewarding round of golf.
