Day 1
Arrive at Dubai Airport. You'll be welcomed by your local tour representative and
transferred to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, dominating the Bur Dubai side of the Khor Dubai waterway,
next to Al Garhoud.
Set within 37 acres of landscaped gardens, this Dubai hotel is an outstanding
combination of resort facilities, luxury hotel guest rooms and suites.
Check in and spend remainder of the day at exploring Bur Dubai. Take an Abra across the
Creek between Bur Dubai and Deira. The trip takes about ten minutes and is well worth taking, it
almost feels like a little getaway from the city while cruising over the water. Crossing the creek on
an Abra provides a spectacular view of the Dubai skyline, and birds will accompany the boats all
the way across. As you come into the Bur Dubai side, you can see the ruler's court standing out
proud (the huge white structure - beautiful and hard to miss).
Day 2
Enjoy breakfast before private transfer to the lush green fairways of Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
The Arabian Ranches Golf Club was built as a true 18 hole, par 72, desert style grass
course.
Miss the immaculate grass of the fairways and greens and you enter the "sandy
waste", with its indigenous shrubs and bushes.
Spend the afternoon exploring Dubai's shopping district at your own pace. Great
shopping is practically everywhere, with modern, spacious shopping malls offering virtually every
kind of store imaginable.
Day 3
Tee off at the Dubai Creek Golf Club after breakfast.
The course is a memorable journey from the first tee to the 18th green. The superbly
manicured fairways are undulating, demarcated by mounds, date and palm trees, and most other
times by water.
Apart from the Creek, which comes into play on at least four holes, several artificial lakes
add to the beauty and difficulty of various other holes. Return to the hotel and top up your tan beside the pool with a long cold drink.
Day 4
Enjoy a full day privately guided tour of the City of Merchants.
A fascinating historical excursion, the route takes you to the magnificent Jumeirah
mosque; past modern palaces sprawled along the coast. In Bastakia, stop for a while to admire the
old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort.
Located nearby, the Dubai Museum records the city's past as an important pearl diving and trading
centre. Continue your journey by Abra - local water taxi. Cross the creek to see the modern
metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing the bustling alleys of our next destination, the gold
and spice souks.
Day 5
After a filling breakfast you'll be transferred to the Emirates Golf Club for a round at the
Majlis Course.
The flagship course at Emirates Golf Club, the Majlis championship course is a
challenging par 72 layout. Sculptured around the original tall desert dunes in 1987, the Majlis was
the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic word for 'meeting place'.
One of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis positioned between the
8th and 9th holes, while one of the most challenging holes on the course is the par 4, dogleg 8th.
Enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 6
Enjoy breakfast before checking out and doing some last minute gift shopping. Return
transfer to the airport and catch your flight back home.
