The course, designed by Colin Montgomerie, covers 265 acres which consist of 123 acres
of turf, 49 acres of man-made lakes, 93 acres of landscaped gardens and is scattered with
81 large bunkers, providing the player with undulating links land style fairways and generous landing areas which challenge and intrigue all levels of player.
Spend the afternoon exploring Dubai's shopping district at your own pace. Dubai justly
deserves its title as the 'Shopping Capital of the Middle East'. Great shopping is practically
everywhere, with modern, spacious shopping malls offering virtually every kind of store imaginable.
Day 3
After a filling breakfast you'll be transferred to the Emirates Golf Club for a round at the
Majlis Course.
The flagship course at Emirates Golf Club, the Majlis championship course is a
challenging par 72 layout. Sculptured around the original tall desert dunes in 1987, the Majlis
was the first grass course in the Middle East and takes its name from the Arabic word for 'meeting
place'.
One of the most prominent features on the course is the Majlis positioned between the
8th and 9th holes, while one of the most challenging holes on the course is the par 4, dogleg 8th.
Enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 4
Enjoy a full day privately guided tour of the City of Merchants.
A fascinating historical excursion, the route takes you to the magnificent Jumeirah
mosque; past modern palaces sprawled along the coast. In Bastakia, stop for a while to admire the
old wind-tower houses built by wealthy merchants. Close by stands the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort.
Located nearby, the Dubai Museum records the city's past as an important pearl diving and trading

metropolis with its splendid architecture dwarfing the bustling alleys of our next destination, the
gold and spice souks.

Enjoy breakfast before private transfer to the lush green fairways of Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
The Arabian Ranches Golf Club, formerly known as the Desert Course, was built as a true
