The Mornington Peninsula has long
been a favourite destination for lazy beachside holidays that come with green hinterlands and wild
ocean beaches on the side.
A game of golf on one of the 18 courses can also stretch into a post-game drink on a shady
verandah, dinner in a fine restaurant and a night in a resort hotel right on the golf course.
Hidden along the hinterland roads are European-style country retreats, intimate hotels, cottages
and charming B&B's. Peppers Moonah Links Resort is one of Australia's most unique leisure
resorts, featuring luxury accommodation, two 18 hole championship golf courses and an endota
spa.

Day 2
Tee off at the Moonah Links Open Course after breakfast.
This is a mighty and ferocious test of golfing ability, the likes of which even the top

In terms of difficulty, a club-handicapped player would merit an extra eight strokes
assistance to return a net par score, yet the course has great flexibility.
After golf, meet up with your viticulture guide for a personalised tour of the Mornington
Peninsula Wineries.
There is an impressive range of varietals grown across the relatively small region,
everything from Tempranillo to Gewarztraminer, but the recognised strengths of this cool climate,
slow-ripening region remains the chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot gris.
Day 3

The course is a loop of 18 holes, with a variety of landscapes flowing through the

Built on only 125 hectares, it's a perfectly manicured course. The bunkering and clever
use of dips and hollows visually fools the non observant golfer. It is a course with multiple layers of
complexity and its wonder is that the more one plays it, the greater your appreciation for its
sophistication becomes.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the vibrant waterfront atmosphere from Federation
Square to Southbank Boulevard and then on to the world famous Crown Casino where you can
enjoy dinner at one of the numerous restaurants.
Day 9

lush Couch grass green fairways lined with trees and well trimmed Bent grass greens framed with
bunkers, all set around a natural lake, Lake Karrinyup Country Club is widely acknowledged as
Western Australia's premier golf club.
After golf we recommend a visit to Fremantle.
Enjoy a fish and chip lunch at one of the harbour cafes and wander round the town, if
you're interested in unique Western Australian gifts, then the markets are the place to go.
Sheepskin and leather goods, jarrah and cane products, dried wildflowers, opals, local shells and
pottery are all available. Venture towards South Terrace, where for the price of a coffee, you'll get
