Designed around 101 hectares of established pine forest, The Pines features corridor
approaches to several holes and 14 of the holes are contoured around stunning man-made lake.
The 13'th hole of the 72 par course features one of the most difficult holes in the
country, and is often a source of frustration and triumph for players.

the Queensland sun. The most popular of the 21 beaches on the Gold Coast include Main Beach,
Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Miami and Nobby Beach. After a relaxing morning
on the beach we recommend that you make your way to the hinterland and sample some the Gold
Coast's best wines.
There is no shortage of fine wine and great food on the Gold Coast. The hinterland
plays host to a number of boutique wineries that offer cellar door tastings and tours. The local
premium wine is often complemented by winery restaurants and cafes. These venues showcase
local produce including cheeses, chocolates, dried fruit and gourmet ice cream.
Day 4
After breakfast, tee off at the Hope Island Resort golf course.
The layout and design of the course is reminiscent of the great courses of Britain and
Ireland, and primarily consists of two loops of nine holes. The front nine starts off to the southeast
in an anticlockwise direction. The back nine heads off in a southwesterly direction, finishing with an
interesting challenging two holes bounded by the non-tidal lake.
After golf, why not head up to Burleigh Heads National Park. A walk through the
rainforest will leave you breathless. By day's end, it will certainly be worth visiting one of Gold
Coast's world class day spas or just relax on one of the coast's many fine beaches.

use of dips and hollows visually fools the non observant golfer. It is a course with multiple layers of
complexity and its wonder is that the more one plays it, the greater your appreciation for its
sophistication becomes.
